"I Really Enjoy going to King House Dental... The staff are really friendly and honest on every visit."- P.B. / Yelp / Jan 17, 2017
"I have to say kudos to Dr. T for running such a patient friendly practice. The great experience started with Heather who took my call and made my first appointment. The hygienist (I think it was Emily) was informative, funny and made me feel so comfortable. Dr. T was personable, reassuring and so easy to talk to. I haven't had great experiences in the past, this was by far the best dentist & team that I have been to. My first appointment was yesterday and I already referred 2 of my coworkers! Oh and the place is spotless! Beautiful historic home that it is obvious that they take great pride in. :)"- L.S. / Yelp / Oct 04, 2019

Prior to the procedure, the dentist will conduct a comprehensive exam in order to gain a full understanding of the patient’s dental needs and aesthetic goals. As part of this examination, photos, measurements, and impressions of the teeth will be taken and sent to a dental laboratory. In the lab, wax molds are created for the teeth, which will be fitted to the patient so any changes can be made at their second visit. During the third visit, the patient’s teeth will be prepared for the veneers by removing a thin layer of the enamel and the custom veneers will be placed and bonded to the teeth. This process thoroughly helps to ensure that the patient truly likes the look and feel of the veneers to provide optimum satisfaction.
Dental veneers are a more expensive cosmetic dental treatment because of the skill and technology used to transform the tooth. The cost varies depending on the number of teeth to be treated. Dental veneers are usually a cosmetic procedure that is not covered by dental insurance, but our office will confirm the patient’s coverage before their treatment. In addition, we offer several financing and payment plans to assist patients.
Do Veneers Stain?
Porcelain veneers are resistant to stains, however the veneers are partially transparent so if the natural teeth are stained this could result in a blotchy, discolored smile. Veneers will also stain if the patient does not brush their teeth regularly.
Covered By Insurance?
Since dental veneers are considered a cosmetic and not restorative or preventative service, most patients will not be covered by their dental insurance. Our office works with patients to provide payment plans and options to fit their needs and budget.
Veneers Special Care?
Much like the natural teeth, it is important to maintain a regular dental hygiene regimen to keep a porcelain veneers looking beautiful. Although there are no special care instructions for veneers, patients are encouraged to schedule routine dental exams and cleanings in additional to brushing, flossing, and maintaining a healthy diet.
